2024 Year in Review
After snowboarding through the winter and a trip to Portugal and Spain in the spring, I moved from New Mexico (back) to Mississippi to begin Air Force pilot training. I'm still progressing through the pipeline—enduring some program delays—and hope to finish next summer. Luckily, I've managed to travel during breaks, everywhere from officiating a wedding in Texas to hiking in the Adirondacks, ultimately visiting 17 states and 8 new National Parks this year.

2023
After traveling through six countries in Europe, I deployed to the Middle East for nearly seven months as a director within a joint special operations group. I was able to visit another five countries, including some war-torn locations. I recently applied for pilot training to take the next leap in my Air Force career and should hear the selection results soon!

2022
This March, I moved from Mississippi to New Mexico and began working with Air Force Special Operations. The year has been busy and full of travel, including a major backpacking trip to Chile. I just promoted to First Lieutenant and next spring I'll be deploying to the Middle East as cyber director for a special operations group!

2021
This June, I (finally) started my Air Force career at Cyber Warfare Training in Biloxi, Mississippi. Chasing adventure, I chose to specialize in expeditionary/combat communications, meaning I can expect plenty of travel and deployments. I graduate on Dec 22 and am excited for what the future holds!

2020
What a year! This June, I defended my thesis and graduated with an honors degree in industrial engineering. I also commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Air Force. During fall, I drove 15,000 miles around the U.S., camping and exploring. In spring 2021, I will depart for Air Force cyber warfare training in Biloxi, Mississippi.
2019
Thanks to the Air Force, this summer I had the incredible opportunity to earn my Private Pilot's License at Embry-Riddle in Arizona. Now I am looking forward to June, when I will finish my degree and commission as a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
2018
This was a year full of learning: engineering classes, military training, law enforcement training, and even a foray into helicopter pilot training. This was also a year of travel to places like Canada, Louisiana, Alabama, Washington D.C., Hawaii, Idaho, and California.
2016
After completing my first year of college, I spent the summer working in Yosemite National Park, CA. I climbed Half Dome and Mt. Whitney - the tallest in the lower 48 - both overnight. Since then, I've been back in school. Studying industrial engineering means the classes can be tough, but rewarding. Like usual, I'm staying busy, thanks in part to joining Air Force ROTC this fall.
